About me

Hi, my name is Jamila…thank you for visiting this page and for listening to my demo! I’ve been leading worship in the Children’s Ministry at North Point Community Church for the past eight years.

When I started singing most Sundays with the kids, I did it out of the pure joy of being on stage and after over 15 years of performing in various theatrical productions, I knew this was a place I could use my gifts to serve my Heavenly Father. Little did I know how transformative that decision would be. I love to sing and perform. But what I love even more, is being able to lift up His name in song and the idea of God using me, little ol’ me to glorify Him through the messages in the lyrics and melodies.
